QA Technician – Gloucestershire – £25k per annum

A well-established international manufacturing company has moved to the Gloucestershire area.

Education / school background:

  • Main or secondary school leaving certificate
  • Completed laboratory technical training or experience.

Practical experience:

  • Several years in the food industry or in the laboratory

Duties

  • chemical and sensory analysis of raw and finished goods (NIR & Microwave technology, Titration)
  • Sampling for microbiology, chemical raw materials
  • Running Keeping Quality program
  • Temperature control
  • Filter controls from production
  • pH – value measurements
  • Supervision and organization of retained sample storage
  • Micro contact plates & determination of airborne germ count, SWAP control
  • Sensory Tastings
  • Drinking water analysis & analysis of processing aids (Glycol etc.)
  • Statistics reports (basic excel) & general documentation
  • GMP production tours and checks for hygiene, cleanliness, and work/product safety.

  • Very good spoken and written English language
