Microbiologist QC Analyst – £15.77ph

Our client a global biotech company based in Speke are looking for a Microbiologist who has validation experience to join their QC Analysis team.

This is a temporary role to start ASAP for a duration of 6 months with a likelihood of extension.

The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off day shifts. 11.5hr per day. Start time is 08:00 +/-1hr.

The role holder would be responsible for biological and chemical evaluation of final product, intermediate products, raw materials, and production facilities.

Duties include:

• performing QC assays, writing, and establishing specifications, assisting in the validation of QC assays, and writing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Typically reports to a manager.
